Денежное влияние и техническое перевооружение сами по себе не могут решить поставленную задачу поэтому техническим вузам необходимо сконцентрировать внимание на вопросах подготовки квалифицированных кадров. Так как за каждым производством, независимо от его степени автоматизации, стоит человек, любые, даже незначительные индустриальные изменения требуют новых компетенций и кадрового обеспечения. Сегодня именно инженерное образование формирует экономический потенциал страны, и с повышением его качества связаны надежды на быстрые изменения в экономике. В работе использовались методы систематизации информации анализируемых литературных источников, среди которых анализ, синтез, структурирование. Сбор первичной информации проводился путем социологических и кабинетных исследований, размещенных на сайтах Бюро национальной статистики Агентства по стратегическому планированию и реформам Республики Казахстан и Министерства науки и высшего образования Республики Казахстан. В статье систематизированы концепции современного инженерного образования, которые дают целостное представление о развитии системы подготовки специалистов технических вузов страны. Анализ региональной подготовки инженерных кадров в Республике Казахстан позволяет оценить возможности и пути перехода предприятий к Четвертой промышленной революции. Выявление трендов развития основных отраслей экономики дает возможность разработать карты компетенций выпускника технического вуза. Воспроизводство инженерных специалистов новой формации необходимо для укрепления экономической безопасности нашей страны.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>One of the key tasks of the industrial and innovative development of the economy of Kazakhstan is to strengthen high-tech production in order to make our country on a par with the leading economies of the world. Monetary influence and technical re-equipment by themselves cannot solve the task, therefore, technical universities need to focus on the issues of training qualified personnel. Any even minor industrial changes require new competencies and personnel support, since there is a person behind every production, regardless of its degree of automation. Today, engineering education forms the economic potential of the country and hopes for rapid changes in the economy are associated with an increase in its quality. The methods of systematization of the information of the analyzed literature sources were used in the work, including: analysis, synthesis, structuring. The collection of primary information was carried out by means of sociological and desk studies posted on websites The Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The article systematizes the concepts of modern engineering education, which give a holistic view of the development of the system of training specialists of technical universities of the country. The analysis of the regional training of engineering personnel in the Republic of Kazakhstan makes it possible to assess the possibilities and ways of transition of enterprises to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The identification of trends in the development of the main sectors of the economy makes it possible to develop competence maps of a technical university graduate.
