На основе статистических данных Национального бюро статистики проанализирована структура субъектов малого и среднего предпринимательства, их распределение по отраслям и регионам, а также уровень занятости. Особое внимание уделяется сферам с высокой концентрацией женщин-лидеров, а также секторам, в которых их представительство остается минимальным. Исследование показывает, что женское предпринимательство в основном сосредоточено в социально ориентированных и менее капиталоемких областях, таких как образование, здравоохранение, торговля и услуги. Целью данного исследования является определение роли и вклада женщин-предпринимателей в развитие малого и среднего предпринимательства в Республике Казахстан, а также определение взаимосвязи между женским лидерством, гендерным равенством и стратегиями устойчивого развития. Для решения поставленных задач использованы общенаучные методы и подходы, включая сравнительный анализ, описательную статистику и методы анализа тенденций. Предметом исследования являются социальноэкономические характеристики женского предпринимательства, отраслевая структура, региональные особенности и стратегическое влияние женского лидерства на развитие малого и среднего предпринимательства и устойчивость экономики. Объектом исследования являются малые и средние предприятия, возглавляемые женщинами в Республике Казахстан. В статье подчеркивается стратегическая важность развития женского лидерства для инклюзивного экономического роста и социальной стабильности. Также рассмотрены существующие препятствия на пути женщин в бизнесе и предложены практические рекомендации по усилению их участия в экономике.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This paper explores the significance of women’s participation in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Kazakhstan and their role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using statistical data provided by the National Bureau of Statistics, the study analyzes the structure of women-led SMEs, their sectoral and regional distribution, as well as employment levels. Particular focus is given to regions and industries where women’s representation is notably high and to those where it remains limited. The findings indicate that women’s entrepreneurial activity is primarily concentrated in socially oriented and service-based industries such as education, healthcare, trade, and personal services. The main objective of the research is to assess the contribution of women entrepreneurs to SME development in Kazakhstan and to examine the interconnection between women’s leadership, gender equality, and sustainable development initiatives. To meet these objectives, general scientific methods and approaches were applied, including comparative analysis, descriptive statistics, and trend analysis. The research subject encompasses the socio-economic aspects of women’s entrepreneurship, its sectoral composition, regional distinctions, and the strategic influence of female leadership on SME growth and overall economic resilience. The object of the study is women-led small and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan. The article highlights the strategic importance of strengthening women’s leadership as a driver of inclusive economic growth and social stability.
