Factors of the formation of the “knowledge economy” in the prism of economic growth models

The relevance of the research is due to the issues of measuring the rates and factors of economic growth. The article analyzes the models of economic growth, which are an abstract, simplified expression of the real economic process and formed on the basis of the Keynesian and neo-Keynesian approaches of Harrod and Domar. The accumulated capital model (AK-model), as well as the Solow model, which demonstrates the impact of savings, population growth, and scientific and technological progress on increasing output over time draws attention. The effectiveness of these models is aimed at revealing the issues of innovative development of the national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The factor-target approach used in the article allows us to determine the challenges to the national economy in the global reality, to comprehensively consider the trajectory of economic development and, accordingly, the parameters and factors of changes in the life of society. Factors affecting economic growth and the formation of the “knowledge economy” are described, crisis phenomena of the trajectory of economic development of Kazakhstan are identified, qualitative transformations of the country's economic life, its technological foundations, and institutions are justified in order to form an innovative model of state development. Dynamic models of economic growth currently being developed are designed to study and analyze the circumstances of achieving optimal sustainable economic growth for each specific country in order to develop an effective long-term economic policy. Since economic growth is the basis for increasing the well-being of citizens, its qualitative assessment should be considered through the study of the dynamics of domestic consumption.
