COVER LETTER

Instructions for withdrawing, correcting articles, publishing corrections, apologies and refutations

General information for authors

The journal accepts materials in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English) from authors with a scientific degree and doctoral students through the official website of the journal (https://vestnik.turan-edu.kz/), which contains detailed instructions for authors on the submission process articles.

In case of independent publication of an article by a doctoral student, it is necessary to provide the opinion of the supervisor on the admission of the article to open publication.

The headings of the structural elements of the article should be in bold.

The text of the report must be original, not previously published anywhere.

The article undergoes a "blind" review, the reviewers are appointed by the editorial board of the journal.

At the end of the article, you must specify the full name. in full, return address, telephones, fax, e-mail address (e-mail) of each author.

The author(s) is responsible for the content of the article. The opinion of the Scientific Editorial Board does not always coincide with the opinion of the author (authors).

The publication of articles is carried out in the order of the general queue as soon as the material is ready. The editors have the right to form a queue in accordance with the headings of upcoming issues.

The editorial board reserves the right to accept out of turn articles with research of great interest to the scientific community.

The editorial board reserves the right to publish or reject articles at any stage of the work on the journal.

In order to detect and prevent scientific plagiarism in accordance with the "Regulations on the organization of activities to identify and prevent scientific plagiarism at “Turan” University", the editors of the journal are checking for anti-plagiarism of articles submitted for publication.

 In one issue of the journal, the author can publish no more than one article, including co-authorship. The number of authors of one article should not exceed 4 people. It is not allowed to publish articles from one author in two issues of the journal in a row.

A scientific article in the amount of the main text (excluding title, information about authors, annotations, keywords, bibliographic list) from 12 to 16 pages is submitted to the editor through the article submission system on the official website of the journal.

Instructions for withdrawing or correcting articles

Article formatting rule

The text of the article must be typed in WINWORD XP or *. RTF (Reach text format). The font is Times New Roman. Size - 14 pt. Alignment - according to the width of the text. Line spacing is single. Paragraph indentation - 1.25 cm. Margins: left - 30 mm, right - 10 mm, top - 15 mm, bottom - 20 mm.

  2. On the next line - UDC code: https://teacode.com/online/udc/, left alignment.
  3. On the next line - code according to JEL Classification JEL Classification Codes (r-project.org), left alignment.
  4. Author(s) of the article - initials and surname (sign * indicate the main author next to the full name* and *e-mail), academic degree, title, position, e-mail, place of work (affiliation), city, country, ORCID ID - in Kazakh, Russian and English, alignment - right.
  5. The title of the article (title) should reflect the essence and content of the work, attract the attention of the reader. It should be concise, informative and free of jargon or abbreviations. It is given in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. Bold, lower case, center alignment.

Scientific article - a statement of one's own conclusions and intermediate or final results of scientific research, experimental or analytical activities, containing author's developments, conclusions, recommendations that have not been previously published and have novelty; or devoted to the review of previously published scientific articles related to a common theme (systematic review).

 

ARTICLE STRUCTURE

The structure of a scientific article includes the title, annotations, keywords, introduction, materials and methods, main provisions, literature review, results, discussion, conclusion, funding information (if available), bibliography.

1. The abstract is in Kazakh, Russian and English languages, consists of 200-250 words (in English version). The structure of the abstract must include the following:

  • Introductory statement on the research topic.
  • Purpose, main directions and ideas of the scientific research.
  • A brief description of the scientific and practical significance of the work.
  • The value of the conducted research (the contribution of this work to the relevant field of knowledge).
  • Practical significance of the research results

2. Key words / phrases - 5–7 in Kazakh, Russian and English.

3. Introduction consists of the following main elements: justification of the choice of the topic, based on the predecessors’ experience; information about the previous research works in the chosen field (absence of any research, the emergence of a new object, etc.); relevance of the topic under consideration; correspondence to the problems of modern science and practice; definition of the object, subject, goals, objectives, tasks, methods, approaches, hypothesis and practical significance of the research results.

4. Materials and methods. The purpose of this part is to assess the reliability of the methods used and their impact on the results. Here are the plan and sequence of the research process, the protocols of the experiment, the materials used, objects, equipment, ready-made statistical data, software, etc.; as well as a methodology for evaluating the results. If the key point in the work is the methodology of the experiment, it is necessary to describe its processes in detail.

Research method is a means of acquiring scientific knowledge, skills, practical skills and data in any field of activity. In the works, both general scientific methods (comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, historical and logical methods, positive and normative analysis) and special ones (horizontal and vertical analysis, coefficient analysis, modeling of socio-economic processes, fuzzy logic method, etc.).

5. Results and discussion. This part presents the results of the study in a clear logical sequence, without interpreting the results. This is where tables, figures and graphs are most often used. Data repetition in tables and graphs should be avoided (if any), such data should only be commented on in terms of trends or the most important points. The basic concept of the work is revealed and contains an analysis and discussion of the conclusions and results obtained during the study.

The discussion should focus on the interpretation of the results of the study and other related materials. New and important observations should be emphasized. Explain the significance of the observed opinion for the purpose of the study. Link the results with the proposed hypothesis. Any unexpected results or observations that have taken place can be explained here.

6. Conclusion. This part ends with a detailed conclusion (highlighted separately). It is necessary to summarize the result and its significance, describe the consequences and practical application of the study, and give possible recommendations.

The final part includes a generalization and summing up of the work at the current stage; confirmation of the validity of the author's statement and conclusion about the change in scientific knowledge, taking into account the results obtained.

7. Gratitude, conflict of interest (Funding information). Information is given about the sources of funding and other contributions, gratitude is expressed, a conflict of interest is noted (if any).

8. List of sources. It should consist of at least 15 sources (no more than 30), of which 50% should be sources from international databases and/or foreign literature. The list of sources is formed according to the order of their application in the text of the article, in which references to sources are made out in straight brackets [...].

It is UNACCEPTABLE to have many links that are not related to the work, as well as links to your previous work (self-citation).

Requirements for tabular and graphical elements of the article.

Tabular and graphic elements should be presented in good quality with mandatory indication of sources in the Note.

Tables

Tables should be created in Microsoft Word table format. Tables should be numbered and indicated in the text. The table name is placed on the left edge above the table without observing the red line, with a line space before and after the table name. The text of the table itself is formatted in size 10 pins. The note indicating the source should be the last solid line in the table.

Drawings

All drawings must be numbered with Arabic numerals (1, 2, ...). All photographs, diagrams, graphs and diagrams must be marked as drawings. Captions and symbols should be clearly defined either in the caption or in the legend that is part of the figure. Figures should be given in grouped form in Word. Drawings are created without fills, with a black stroke; internal text - 10 pt. Figures should be placed as close as possible to the first mention of them in the article. A note is given after the title of the figure.

Equations

Equations and formulas should be typed in Mathtype and numbered sequentially with Arabic numerals in parentheses on the right side of the page. They must also be separated from the surrounding text by a single space.

Submission Preparation Checklist

To submit an article, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items. The manuscript may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. This article was not previously published, nor has it been submitted for review and publication in another journal (or explained in the Editor's Comments).

  2. The file of the submitted article is presented in the OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect document format.

  3. The full web address (URL) for links where possible.

  4. The text is typed with a single line spacing; a font size of 14 points is used; all illustrations, graphs and tables are located in the appropriate places in the text, and not at the end of the document.

  5. The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in the Rules for authors, which is on the page "About the Journal".

  6. To ensure «blind» peer- review the article is sent as a separate file without specifying the authors ' information, and includes the title of the article and keywords in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English), the text of the article, an abstract in three languages, and a list of references.

  7. Also, in a separate file ("additional file" – on the website), the authors' full information about themselves is provided in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English): Full name, academic degree and title, place of work or study, return address, phone numbers, e-mail address (e-mail).

  8. Thus, the author makes out and sends to the website of the journal 4 files: the "original file" - the full version of the article, "additional files" - a cover letter, the version without personal information about the authors (paragraph 6) and the version containing only personal information about the authors (paragraph 7).
